For our Client, an international manufacturing company in the FMCG sector we are looking for a candidate for the position
Product Development Technologist
Scope of responsibilities:
- Proposes and coordinates regional new products development / markets portfolio adaptation according to identified needs of customers (internal, external and/or market surveys, trends analysis, etc).
- Proposes technical / sales argumentation tools and techniques to promote and demonstrate the benefits of company ingredients portfolio, to the internal and external customers.
- Promotes and demonstrates new products to customers (internal, external) via technical demonstrations, seminars.
- Proposes new projects/product developments related to Ingredients and Fermentation products to NPDI
- Coordinates regional NPDI projects in cooperation with the Local, Regional and NPD teams, according to the complexity of project.
- Participates & conducts bakery trials, seminars, internal / external training, related to new products / projects and baking technologies to internal or final customers.
Requirements:
- University degree at Food Engineering / Biochemistry / Biotechnology / Food science/ Food Industry
- 3-5 years in similar position (Customer service / Food Ingredients) or Formation baking technologist / Biotechnology / Food processing technologist / Food Projects Management
- The knowledge of milling technology
- The knowledge of baking market (baking ingredients market is a plus)
- The knowledge of EU Regulation related to food products / food additives
- The knowledge of baking process and technology
- The knowledge of food projects management
- The knowledge of product development / Customer Service / bakery products
- English B2/C1
- Knowledge of MS Office
