On behalf of our Client, a company from the animal nutrition sector, we are looking for a Nutrition Technologist (Turkey).
Scope of responsibilities:
- Creating and developing nutrition programmes for turkeys
- Providing nutritional advice to customers and working on an ongoing basis with breeders and commercial partners
- Analysing production results and monitoring the effectiveness of the feed solutions used
- Handling complaints, identifying causes and recommending corrective actions
- Selecting and recommending feed solutions in response to specific production challenges
- Taking part in the analysis and evaluation of solutions available on the market and working with potential suppliers
- Working with the R&D Department on testing new products
- Working with the Production Department on setting production standards for turkeys
- Working with the Quality Department to ensure that products comply with applicable standards
- Providing technical support to sales teams
Requirements:
- University degree (a degree in animal husbandry and nutrition preferred)
- Professional experience in poultry nutrition (we also welcome applications from people with experience in selling poultry nutrition products who are interested in the Nutrition Technologist role)
- Practical knowledge of poultry nutrition, feed additives and solutions that support production results (knowledge of turkey nutrition is an additional advantage)
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Logical thinking and data analysis skills
- Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team
- Accuracy and good organisation of one’s own work
- Knowledge of formulation optimisation software
- Communicative English
