On behalf of our Client, an international company from the automotive sector, we are looking for a Facility & Security Manager.
Scope of responsibilities:
- Building and implementing a physical and organisational security system that meets the requirements of the defence sector
- Designing, implementing and maintaining security procedures (access control, incident management, protection of information and assets)
- Ensuring compliance with contractual requirements, industry standards and the requirements of customers and regulatory bodies
- Preparing the organisation for internal and external audits (customer and regulatory)
- Managing security incidents: prevention, response, root cause analysis and implementation of corrective and preventive actions
- Analysing risks and protecting the organisation against external and internal threats
- Working with security teams and central departments and supporting projects related to the military sector
- Ensuring infrastructure that meets security, operational continuity and standards requirements
- Managing the site, buildings and technical maintenance of the infrastructure (FM, service, plant maintenance)
- Overseeing critical systems (energy, HVAC, technical security systems)
- Managing utilities and energy sources and analysing their consumption and costs.
- Overseeing service providers (facility management, security, technical service)
- Contributing to investment and modernisation projects (adaptation of buildings, greenfield, adaptation to defence requirements)
- Auditing and optimising existing processes and infrastructure systems
- Recommending and implementing operational and cost improvements while maintaining security requirements
- Supporting ESG / sustainability activities in the area of infrastructure and resource consumption
Requirements:
- Experience in infrastructure and industrial security in a large organisation
- Experience in a highly demanding environment is an advantage.
- Very good knowledge of security standards and compliance requirements
- Independence and business maturity
- English at a minimum of B2 level (business, fluent)
- Management experience or a high level of seniority
- Experience in preparing organisations for audits and for working in a regulated environment
- Experience in managing physical and operational security.
- experience in greenfield projects / building a function from scratch is an advantage
- Ability to build security systems, not just maintain them
- Strong risk and incident management skills
- Ability to combine operational, technical and regulatory perspectives
- Ability to work with auditors and demanding customers
