  • Production logistics: working closely with the production department on delivering components to the SMT/THT lines (Kanban and Milk Run systems).
  • Building and developing the team: recruiting, training and managing a team of warehouse and logistics staff.
  • Implementing systems and standards: active participation in the implementation of an ERP/WMS system and of ISO standards and customs procedures.
  • Cost optimisation: analysing logistics spend, negotiating with transport service providers (3PL) and implementing solutions that improve operational efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Education: a degree in logistics, supply chain management or a technical field preferred.
  • Professional experience: at least 5 years in logistics, including at least 2 years in a decision-making role, ideally in the electronics or automotive sector.
  • Greenfield experience: experience in starting up new warehouses, distribution centres or logistics processes in newly built plants will be a key advantage.
  • Component knowledge: practical knowledge of managing inventories of electronic components (ESD and MSL sensitivity).
  • Managerial skills: the ability to build structures from scratch, strong interpersonal skills and natural authority.
  • Lean logistics: practical knowledge of tools such as 5S, Kaizen and Just-in-Time, and experience working with ERP systems.
  • English: at a level allowing comfortable communication with international suppliers and reporting to the board.
  • Personal qualities: proactivity, resilience to the pressures typical of a start-up phase and a strong focus on solving problems.

Our Client offers:

  • Stable employment: a choice of working arrangement (B2B contract or contract of employment).
  • Attractive remuneration: a salary matched to the scale of responsibility and a bonus system linked to the project’s KPIs.
  • Real influence on the shape of logistics in the company — you build the processes to your own standards.
  • The tools you need: laptop, mobile phone and expert support during implementation.
