Test and Measurement Engineer

Scope of responsibilities:

The main aim of the role is to ensure continuity of the testing and assembly processes for electronic controllers through technical supervision of bench equipment, and to maintain the highest quality of the final product through parameter control and error analysis.

• Equipment maintenance and calibration:
  • Ongoing maintenance, adjustment and repair of control and measuring equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes, signal generators).
  • Supervising the condition of functional testers (FCT) and In-Circuit testers (ICT).
• Product parameter control:
  • Monitoring and optimising production processes to maintain compliance with the controllers’ technical documentation.
  • Verifying that the uploaded software and the hardware configuration are correct.
• Defect analysis (Root Cause Analysis):
  • Detailed analysis of the causes of scrap and of errors detected at the final testing stage.
  • Reporting analysis results and implementing corrective actions to eliminate recurring defects.
• Technical support for production:
  • Instructing operators in the use of measuring equipment.
  • Taking part in launching new production lines and introducing new controller models (NPI – New Product Introduction).

Requirements:

• Technical university degree (Electronics, Automation, Electrical Engineering or related fields).
• Ability to operate measuring equipment and to solder SMD/THT components.
• Analytical thinking and the ability to diagnose faults in electronic circuits.
• Ability to read electronic diagrams and technical drawings.
