On behalf of our Client — an international manufacturer of solutions for the automotive sector based in the Opolskie region — we are looking for an Electrical Design Engineer.
Scope of responsibilities:
- Designing wiring harnesses (2D/3D) in a CAD environment.
- Optimal placement of electrical components within the product structure (component placement).
- Prototyping wiring harnesses and introducing them into series production.
- Hands-on work with products and prototypes in test and laboratory areas.
- Managing project schedules and creating and verifying BOM (Bill of Materials) structures for electrical systems.
- Working with suppliers at engineering level, including communicating in English with partners from China, the USA and Europe.
- Taking part in design reviews and supporting validation processes and field support activities.
Requirements:
- University degree in a relevant field: Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Experience in designing wiring harnesses covering the whole cycle: from design through prototyping to introduction into production.
- Knowledge of 3D CAD environments (e.g. Creo, CATIA, NX, SolidWorks).
- Very good command of English (essential).
- Ability to work with a physical product/prototype and willingness to take on practical tasks.
- Strong communication skills, independence and a collaborative approach in international teams.
