On behalf of our Client, a company from the retail sector based in Wrocław, we are looking for a Deputy Managing Director.
Scope of responsibilities:
- Managing the organisation as a whole, covering every area of operational, sales and strategic activity
- Introducing new product groups to the market
- Leading the company’s growth and delivering the strategy approved by the board, as well as contributing to the business strategy
- Optimising the organisational structure
- Working closely with the CFO and overseeing delivery of senior management targets (sales, marketing and operations — purchasing, logistics, administration), including joint work on improving the efficiency of business processes
- Improving operating results through cost optimisation and revenue growth
- Monitoring and reporting business, financial and operational targets to the board
- Supporting an organisational culture built on cooperation, independence and open communication
Requirements:
- University degree (preferably management, economics, finance, law, an MBA or a related field)
- At least 5 years of experience as an operations director, managing director, board member or CEO
- Professional experience in the retail sector (chain retail)
- A proven record in managing an organisation, delivering business targets and building and developing teams
- Ability to create and effectively deliver a business strategy
- Very good command of financial, legal and operational matters relating to running a business
- High professional ethics and a strong sense of responsibility
- Very good command of English
