Senior Financial Controller

Scope of responsibilities:

• Develop and monitor performance measures that support the company’s strategic direction
• Preparing the budget and financial forecasts for the factory
• Preparation of cyclical financial and business reports for management
• Month-end closing
• Analysing cost structure, proposing necessary adjustments, and ensuring the accuracy of applied cost allocation factors and methods
• Monitoring and analysing KPI’s, evaluate weekly and monthly results and actual to budget variances
• Analysing profitability by product, distribution channels, customers, etc.
• Close collaboration with sales, production, and operations teams to monitor costs, implement productivity initiatives, and execute optimization activities
• Controlling and analysing major company projects
• Active cooperation with regional and group controlling as well as the accounting department
• Managing the team: 1 person
• Planning and calculating CAPEX investments
• Day-to-day management and improvement / efficiency of financial systems, processes and controls

Requirements:

• A degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field
• Experience in finance in an international, sales-driven, manufacturing organization
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar position within a manufacturing company
• Knowledge of ERP systems
• Strong proficiency in MS Office (particularly MS Excel)
• Excellent communication skills
• Independence and self-reliance
• “Can do” attitude and high accountability
• Ability to work under pressure of deadlines
• Ability to collaborate with senior management, business leaders, and functional experts
• Fluent communication in English
