On behalf of our Client, a company from the industrial sector, we are looking for a Design and Process Engineer.
Scope of responsibilities:
- Preparing technical and working documentation
- Preparing workshop drawings and bills of materials
- Selecting materials and components in line with project requirements
- Working with the technology department and other departments to arrive at the best solutions in terms of cost and manufacturing technology
- Working with the production department on the implementation and delivery of projects, including technological supervision of ongoing projects
Requirements:
- Technical education (mechanics and mechanical engineering, production engineering or related fields)
- Knowledge of 2D/3D CAD software (AutoCAD and SolidWorks preferred)
- Ability to read and produce technical documentation
- Knowledge of the principles of designing mechanical components and the ability to prepare complete working documentation
- Knowledge of materials science, so that the solutions designed can be manufactured
- Analytical skills and creativity in solving technical problems
- Ability to use basic measuring tools is an advantage
- Independence, a sense of responsibility and good organisation of work
- Category B driving licence
- English at a level that allows communication and reading technical documentation
