On behalf of our Client, an international manufacturing company near Oława, we are looking for a Maintenance Manager.
Scope of responsibilities:
- Managing the Maintenance team and planning the department’s work
- Minimising downtime, increasing the reliability of the machine fleet and building a strong technical culture in the Maintenance team
- Supervising the condition of machines, installations and technical infrastructure
- Minimising downtime and analysing the causes of failures (e.g. 5 Why)
- Planning and carrying out preventive and predictive inspections
- Supervising occupational safety and compliance with technical and legal requirements
- Working with other departments and external service providers
- Managing the CMMS, spare parts and the department’s KPIs
- Taking part in modernisation and process improvement projects
- Close cooperation with Production Managers and managers of other departments
- Helping to develop proposals for investment and modernisation projects (machine purchases and modifications)
Requirements:
- Experience in a similar position gained in the Maintenance department of a manufacturing company
- Technical university degree
- Experience in managing a Maintenance team
- Experience in the food industry is an advantage
- Fluent English enabling communication within international structures
- Practical knowledge of the repair, operation and maintenance of machines and equipment
- Ability to read technical documentation, diagrams and technical drawings
- A solution-oriented attitude and commitment to continuous improvement
- Team management skills
- Independence and the ability to organise one’s own work and that of the team
- Ability to delegate tasks and hold people accountable for them
- A flexible, responsible and reliable approach to carrying out tasks
