For our Client, an international manufacturing company, we are looking for a Head of Finance for the Poland Region.

Head of Finance

Scope of responsibilities:

  • Manage financial teams located in different areas of Poland
  • Collaborate closely with General Managers, Operations Managers and other stakeholders to align financial strategies with business goals
  • Participate in key strategic decisions making process as part of the senior management team, leading financial strategy development and execution
  • Act as a key partner to the business teams, particularly in capital allocation and strategic decision-making processes
  • Initiate improvements in productivity, quality and profitability
  • Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities across the Polish region
  • Review financial performance and budget deviations, and ensure alignment of cash flow with operational needs
  • Contribute to financial strategic planning by providing insights, analysis, and recommendations, and setting functional goals aligned with organizational aims
  • Develop and implement financial processes, tools, and systems that enhance operational efficiency and support business needs
  • Ensure compliance of Poland entity with both group and local laws and regulations
  • Take a hands-on approach in addressing real business challenges, ensuring that financial strategies are effectively executed

Requirements:

  • A degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field 
  • Experience in finance in an international, sales-driven, manufacturing organization
  • Strong technical skills in financial management with the ability to translate complex financial information into actionable insights
  • Experience in building and managing diverse teams across multiple locations
  • Experience in executing financial strategies and solving business advantages
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of financial operations in the region
  • Experience in leading and shaping financial strategies in a dynamically growing international organization
  • Ability to work under pressure of deadlines
  • Ability to collaborate with senior management, business leaders, and functional experts
  • Experience in working in an international organization
  • Fluent communication in English
  • Willingness and ability to travel as required
